Nadia Gattas

Do not be fooled by her image. Nadia Gattas is a dark skinned, curly-haired tenuous girl with a liberating smile. However, she is also 158 centimeters raw energy and a fighter, otherwise she would never have reached this point in her life releasing singles on Lifted House, Armada, disco:wax and collaborating with international artists such as CAZZETTE. She is working in the genre is Deep House/Pop/Future R&B – always with a soulful focus on the vocal. The lyrics are strong and they are about love, life and everyday feelings. She released the single “The Feeling” on Lifted House in 2015 and one of her dreams came through – entering the Billboard Chart. The single topped on Billboards Dance Club Songs as #22 and stayed for 10 weeks. Everything she has seen and been through has made her who she is today. She is the result of a Moroccan mother and a Christian Egyptian father who met in Denmark, so even though there were already many minorities in her childhood streets, there was nowhere for Nadia to fit in. She was an outsider in both the schoolyard and her backyard. The home was rich on love but poor on money and her mother joggled several jobs and still had to receive help at Christmas time from the Salvation Army to get it to stick together. Nadia Gattas as a child found solace in music and her voice was her way out of the vicious circle. She finds her inspiration from singers who wear their life experiences and reflections in each note.
