Kafka is singer songwriter with an alternative twist, displaying a style of writing that is both concise and tight whilst flowing with drama and tension. Covering wide ranging topics such as religion, capitalism, sexuality, spirituality, domestic abuse, child abuse, mental illness, isolation, war, drug addiction, but never without a sly sense of humour and a foot stomping tune. The songs are arranged in the classical singer songwriter styles akin to Elvis Costello, Lou Reed and Neil Young whilst drawing influence from the raw edge of new wave luminaries such as The Only Ones, The Buzzcocks, The Clash and alternative favourites The Pixies. Resulting in passionate songs that are emotionally charged and burning with energy.
