Nuclear Salvation

The founding members Markus Svensson and Daniel Jonasson started the band with the goal to release a record on their own. So they started their own record label named Skinforge records. During the recording process of their first album vocalist Benny Stigestad joins the band and shortly after that the very talented drummer Andreas Risberg took the place as the permanent drummer. Because of Andreas has one and a half arm he has been nicknamed "The def leppard drummer of thrash metal" by the renowned vocalist Martin van Drunen (Pestilence, Asphyx etc). despite his handicap, he plays drums as todays elite. Later in the year of 2011 Albert Strachal joins the band as a Bass player and completes the line-up. Nuclear salvations first full-lenght album "The Beginning Of The End" has so far received good feedback from critics and people buying the record. It also received good reviews in other countries. For example the record got 6 out of 10 in both Sweden Rock Magazine and Close-Up Magazine. "The lasting impressions are effective riffs, pounding bass drums, controlled bass lines and a catchy aggression...it smells like Sodom, Kreator and early Slayer..." /Close-up Magazine #132 "Worldwide Chaos, Hate Anthem and When The Kingdom Hall Burns are spirited homages to the founders of this genre while Pain Feeds Their Hunger is an alternative track with angrily howling guitars" /Sweden Rock Magazine #84 At the moment the band is ready to release their second full-length album entitled, Ruins Of Reality. The album was mixed by renowed Studio Fredman in Gothenburg and mastered by Peter in de betou at Tailor maid music production in Stockholm.
