In 2010, my singing career consisted of belting in the shower and jammin in the car. With a love for Keith Urban and other singers I idolized, my dad and I would drive in the car acting like we were one of their peers in the music biz. Since I was little, writing poetry has helped me express my feelings and myself. Now, a short step away from poems come the lyrics I write for my music... with the same emotional outlet I had as a young girl. Although its been a short journey, my career in music started at an event in Orlando, Florida called T.H.E. where I performed in front of hundreds and got bit by the bug to become a solo artist. After a few calls from industry producers, I took the hint that music is my thing. After recording my first 3 song EP in Nashville the fall of 2011, along with help from Hunter Smith (former Colts Punter) Ive expanded my musical influences from artists like Missy Higgins, Grace Potter, Cold Play, Trevor Hall, and (of course) Keith Urban. Adele is my biggest inspiration when it comes to lyrics. Still working on my on-stage jitters, I enjoy performing for people and expressing this bubbling fountain of creativity through music. Eminem once said "music can alter moods and talk to you." I hope my music reaches people, allowing them to connect with my lyrics and their meanings. Music is truly a language of its own, of which Im just beginning to learn how to speak.
